Boa Semana
p.s. "Salve-se quem puder!" ... acredito que era esse o nome da peça (ou pelo menos a moral da história);
p.s.2 Ao clicar no link, (o título) "The Little Black Box", é possível ver um documentário sobre Elizabeth Montgomery, uma estrela que brevemente passou pela terra... e que com certeza deixou muitas mensagens e lembranças.

p.s.3 Quanta lembrança... numa pequena caixinha preta....
The Little black box
As you may have noticed....I have put pictures from my teenage years.....it had been I long time since I last opened my little box of pictures. To look into the past, not always is a good thing...however, I’ve kept unforgettable memories of this journey called “Life”, memories absolutely necessary to the personal and spiritual growth.
When I came across the the picture on the left...so many things came to mind.... I was only 16 years old, used to do theater at Cultura Inglesa (English Cultural Center), where I actually acquired a strong base of the English language...but that’s not the point. The point is, all the naiveté reflected on the picture. I had no idea, just as nobody does, that destiny was written on the stars for that young, smily, playful, and of course, very immature lady. (To this day my mom says that I haven’t quite grown up)
I remember that in this theater piece, where I played a character who helped the captain... and the funny thing is...I didn’t help at all.....I was more of a nuisance (kind of Lucille Ball in the “I Love Lucy” sitcom - by far my favorite show along with “Bewitched” interpreted by Elizabeth Montgomery - great times!)
It’s not a surprise that I ended up with the captain’s hat....imagine what was the trip itself! A comedy! This photo reminded me of that theater day, which made me reflect about life. No doubt that on our personal journey we lose control of our ship...we go through tense moments, sad, turbulent times, until the sun shines again.
In moments like this we should stop and think...it’s time to grow... it is also time to laugh, after all, why should we take life so serious, if nobody comes out alive from it?
Generally speaking, when we are in the middle of a torment, we can’t see things for what they are. Gone the hurricane, it’s possible to see our mistakes, and why the storm happened. For sure we are the ones attracting it, as well as, the ones repelling it.
And why do we do that? We do it because we are still very immature...and without the storm we can’t mature. Think that everything in this life is temporary...just don’t let crucial growth opportunities slip by. Don’t let fear stop you from facing things...that’s the easiest way not to grow. The “current paradigm”... doesn’t add, it’s accommodating, and with time...depressing. Save yourselves!
Have a Great Week.
P.S “Save yourselves!”...I reckon this was the name of the theater piece (or at least the point of it)
P.S.2 As you click on the link, (the title) “The Little Black Box”, it’s possible to see a documentary about Elizabeth Montgomery, a star that briefly stayed on earth...but who for sure left many wonderful massages and memories.
P.S3 How many memories....on a little black box.....
